September at Ceramic Substrates

We have received several different raw material deliveries which we use to manufacture our own refractory materials such as Steatites and Porcelain.  Because we process our own ceramic materials we have precise control over the manufacturing procedure from the raw materials to the ready to use material.  Jason our Materials Technician logs the raw material deliveries so we have full traceability with every batch of material that is made which is vital for quality control and to prevent any cross contamination.

Our CNC Team have taken delivery of another batch of Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic Maxislabs and being a certified Corning Macor Distributor we always have Macor in stock both Maxislabs and large Rods and all relevant paperwork/certificate of conformities for traceability and compliance are readily available.  Our Engineers  have a wealth of expertise and capabilities with machining Macor, along with the knowledge of the material’s suitability for our customers applications.

Mark who has been with us for four years, has move from the General Shop Floor Team to work alongside our CNC Engineers preparing Machinable Ceramic Rods and Bars ready for them to machine into intricate and complex components.  This month has been extra special for Mark, for he also tied the knot with his fiancé Laura celebrating at The Ryde Castle.
